Ep 2 Dev Blog #3 – Short Week/ by /

This past Monday was a long weekend in Canada, so I took it mostly off. Still did a bit of After Effects work that the final shot in the previous scene needed, but this week has mostly been setting up for the next scene. The new scene is a doozy, longest one in the episode, so it needs a lot of prep. Nevertheless first background is done (likely need 2 or 3 for this scene), several new character assets are in place. The animation will take the longest in this scene, as well as it introduces a new character that will need a fairly complex full rig. We’re in the thick of it now.

Early next week I’ll be recording my lines for what will be a recurring character, so I’ve been trying to dial in the voice by walking around practicing lines. The neighbors must think I’m a bit odd. Apartment life.
